An animal’s tracks may offer clues that help us to understand its behavior. Solving track mysteries can reveal an animal’s habitat and food preferences. In this activity, students will practice being a biologist by investigating wildlife through tracks, solving track mysteries, and creating a tracking ID book.
The Alexandria Public Library is happy to be working with the Licking Park District to offer children’s programs on the fourth Thursday of the month for kids in K – 5th grade. Kids need to be registered at the library by Wednesday, January 25, and a note will need to be sent to school giving the kids permission to walk from Northridge Primary to the library with our staff. Due to the school dismissal time for 4th & 5th graders, they will have to make their own transportation arrangements for attending the Licking Park District program.
Please contact the library at 740.924.3561 or email email@example.com to register your student.
