2017 Summer Reading Program
Thursday, May 18 at 1:45PM
Summer is right around the corner, and this year we will Build a Better World at the library. Our programs and activities are currently under construction. The final nuts and bolts will be in our June newsletter and include events for all ages.
Over the years, the Alexandria Public Library and Northridge Primary School have built a great relationship promoting reading to our community children. We are excited to announce Matt Jergens, comedy juggler, will be at Northridge Primary School on Thursday, May 18 at 1:45PM for a 45 minute program to kick off our Build a Better World summer reading program.
International gold medalist juggler Matt Jergens has been making audiences laugh for over twenty years. Whether he’s performing on five-star cruise lines, in major theme parks, or at schools across the country, he has thrilled and captivated audiences with his high-energy show. His show involves electrifying routines that showcase the talents of one the top jugglers around. He fills the performance area with juggling pins, spinning plates, a tall unicycle, and a multitude of other unique props.
If you would like to see Matt, mark your calendars and stop in the Northridge Primary School office before the show to sign in. We would like to give a big, “Thank you!” to Northridge Primary principal, Ms. Jamie Johnson, for her support of our 2017 summer reading program.
